2024 Creative Art Retreat

Come enjoy a relaxing, creative art retreat with Toni Brown Art and Ally Bryan Coloured Space Design

• Spend 3 days with like-minded creative souls.

• 5 Guided mixed-media art sessions over three days.

• Drawing inspiration from the Kangaroo River and historic sandstone suspension bridge, we will explore expressive mark-making using inks, pastels, gouache, collage and printmaking to create our own art journals. All materials and instruction provided.

No previous art experience is necessary, come on your own or bring a friend.

We will draw inspiration from our natural environment and the beautiful farm buildings around us. Using fun printing techniques and mark-making we will record our memories of this magical weekend in unique handmade journals.

• Share ideas, discover your own unique style and be inspired by this stunning countryside

• Enjoy delicious nutritious meals, including morning & afternoon teas. Dietary requirements are also happily catered for.

• Indulge in this stylish, comfortable home, a place to escape, relax and unwind. You choose how much or as little as you’d like to do.

  • New to art? No problem. All levels of experience are welcome

 Retreat includes:

• 3 days & 2 nights, twin share accommodation – Nalya Kangaroo Valley. Friday midday until Sunday afternoon.

• 2 Art Tutors

  • 5 guided creative workshops

• All art materials supplied, no materials list to shop for!

  • Quiet time for yoga, naps or walks

• All meals & wine with dinner

 Cost:

  • $1200 pp twin share

  • $200 non-refundable deposit required to secure each booking. Full payment is due one month prior to the Retreat. Should you need to cancel, your payment may be transferred to a friend or another participant or used for a future retreat.

• 5 Guided mixed-media art sessions over three days.

• Explore expressive mark-making and mixed media techniques as we make our own artist books. We will draw inspiration from our natural environment and express these observations using our own concertina sketchbooks, natural brush making & gelli printing. We will be using coloured inks, charcoal, pastels, watercolour and acrylics.

All art materials are included

• Discover your own unique style and be inspired by this stunning countryside

• Enjoy delicious nutritious meals, including morning & afternoon teas. Dietary requirements are also happily catered for.

• Indulge in this stylish, comfortable home, a place to escape, relax and unwind. You choose how much or as little as you’d like to do.
